DOTAPP (“we,” “our,” “us”) operates the mobile application Gallery Photo Album Manager (the “App”). Your privacy is our priority. This policy outlines how we handle data and your rights regarding that data.
1. Data Minimization & Local Storage
The core of our App is built on a "Local-First" principle.
No Media Collection: We do not collect, upload, or store your personal photos, videos, or media files on our servers.
Local Processing: All media management, folder organization, and editing happen locally on your device.

To maintain app stability and provide free features through advertising, we use the following third-party SDKs. These partners may collect pseudonymous identifiers (like Android Advertising ID):

Permissions Declaration
This application requests the following permissions to provide its core functionality:
- Read media images and videos: Used to scan and display photos and videos stored on your device, helping you browse, filter, categorize, or search through your media. All media processing is performed locally on the device. Your photos and videos are never uploaded to any server or shared with third parties.
Set Wallpaper: To allow you to personalize your device using your photos directly from the App.
Internet / Network State: Required to fetch configuration updates, report crashes, and serve advertisements.
Post Notifications: To alert you about successful file operations, app features, or important updates.
4. User Rights (GDPR / CCPA Compliance)
Regardless of your location, we respect your rights to:
Opt-Out of Personalized Ads: You can reset your Advertising ID or opt-out via your Android Device Settings.
Data Portability: Since we do not store your personal data on our servers, your "data" stays with you.
Deletion: Uninstalling the app removes all app-specific cached data from your device.
5. In-App Purchases
All financial transactions are handled by Google Play Billing. We never see or store your credit card or bank information. We only receive a "purchase token" from Google to verify your premium status.
6. Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we discover such data has been collected by a third-party SDK unintentionally, we will take steps to remove it.
7. Security
We employ industry-standard encryption for any data transmitted to our third-party partners (e.g., HTTPS). However, the security of your media relies on your device's security settings.
8.Permissions Requested
The App may request the following permissions:
Notification Access: The app may utilize the POST_NOTIFICATIONS permission to show event notifications even when the app is not actively used.
Alarm Access: The app may utilize SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM, SET_ALARM and USE_EXACT_ALARM permissions are used to schedule and manage calendar event with precision.
Network Access: This may be required for downloading updates or serving advertisements. It is also necessary for Google AdMob, Firebase, and other third-party services integrated into the App.
Wake Lock Access: The permissions WAKE_LOCK may ensure the calendar event can wake the device.
Vibrate Access: The permissions VIBRATE may required to vibrate phone in the events of upcoming event based on user's customization.
Overlay Access: The permissions SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW may required to allow calendar to override the lock screen for after call screen feature.
Boot Completed Access: The permissions RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED allows the app to restart after call screen feature after the device restarts.
Ignore Battery Optimizations: The permissions REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS ensures the event works reliably even when the app is restricted by battery-saving measures..
Read Phone State: The permission READ_PHONE_STATE may helps detect the state of the device (e.g., incoming calls) to manage after call screen feature.
Call Phone: The permission CALL_PHONE may to initiate a call directly from an after call screen feature.
QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES: The permission QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES used by the background monitor service to detect which app got uninstalled and trigger uninstalled app cleanup.
FOREGROUND_SERVICE: The permission FOREGROUND_SERVICE may to use for Continuous Background Monitoring Service visible in foreground.
MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: The permission MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE may to Full Storage Scan, Recovery, and Deep Cleaning feature.
FOREGROUND_SERVICE_PHONE_CALL : the permission FOREGROUND_SERVICE_PHONE_CALL Used to run a foreground service during active phone calls, ensuring calling features continue to work reliably and displaying an ongoing call notification while a call is in progress.
READ_CALL_LOG – Required to display the user's recent call history.
WRITE_CALL_LOG – Required to allow users to delete and manage their call history.
SEND_SMS – Used for the Quick Response feature. When the user is unable to answer an incoming call, they can decline the call and automatically send a predefined SMS (such as "I'm busy, I'll call you later") to the caller. SMS messages are sent only when the user chooses to use this feature.
